Park Players of Greenfield Park - Serving the Community for 65 Years!
Park Players has entertained the residents of Greenfield Park and surrounding areas. Our missions are to share our love of theatre with the public, and to support charitable organizations in the greater Longueuil area through fundraising.
Park Players was founded by a small group of enthusiastic Greenfield Park residents in 1960 and adopted our official name in 1961. Park Players not only stages productions in the Spring and Fall of each year, but we are engaged in the community year-round.
Over the years, our members have been involved in many local projects, such as; Lunch hour workshops for elementary school children, one-act plays and activities for the Golden Leaves (a social centre for the elderly), children’s plays for church potluck dinners, plays for our local Legion chapter, and many, many more!
Past performances have not been limited by genre, and have included plays such as:
- Twelve Angry Jurors
- 37 Postcards
- It’s a Wonderful Life
- Come Blow Your Horn
- A Christmas Carol
- Lafferty’s Wake
Our membership is as diverse as our performances, ranging all ages and demographics, and representing the community of Greenfield Park as a whole.
We encourage anyone interested in any aspect of live performance to join us. We welcome all ages and all ranges of experience.
